Emergency Medical Flights
Medical transport can mean the difference between life and death. From anywhere in Costa Rica it is a 45 minute helicopter flight to a modern hospital.
Access to Issolated Regions
Regions of Costa Rica only have dirt roads and trails. People travel on four-wheelers, on horseback, or on foot. During the rainy season (May - December) mudslides and raging rivers issolate people in these areas.
Supplies are flown into mountainous regions for community development projects. Bridges, like this one over the Chirripó River, are constructed so people can safely cross.
